<p>Chipolette is a CSS framework and starter kit that is designed to replace Bootstrap. It is a fork from Shoelace and Bootstrap and fully embraces CSS variables and custom properties. It does not require compilation to change colors or sizes, making it easier to use. Chipolette is written in LESS and is compatible with evergreen browsers and older ones that support CSS variables. For older IE versions and other outdated browsers, there is a polyfill available. Chipolette is licensed under MIT and is maintained by Marcis Bergmanis.</p>
