Installation:

There are two installation methods for the WxT Bootstrap theme in Drupal 8:

  1. Distribution: This is the recommended method and includes all dependencies and configurations of the Drupal WxT distribution.
  2. Standalone: This method is for those who prefer a lighter installation without the full weight of a distribution and its dependencies. It requires manual installation of the necessary dependencies.

To install the theme using the distribution method:

  1. Enable the WxT Bootstrap theme or a derived sub-theme as the default active theme in Drupal.

To install the theme using the standalone method:

  1. Download and extract the WxT Bootstrap theme.
  2. Install the required dependencies (Bootstrap, WxT Library, WxT jQuery Framework assets) using composer.
  3. Configure WxT components and custom plugins.
  4. Set the WxT Bootstrap theme or a derived sub-theme as the default active theme in Drupal.
