Academic Webpage Template

Overview:

This academic webpage template is designed for creating webpages for academic papers. Originally made for the SinDDM project page, it has been generalized for use by others. It includes various components such as a navigation bar, dropdown menu for media files, carousel, and paper section with citation and image. The template is customizable, allowing users to comment out or delete unnecessary components. It leverages Bootstrap 5 for easy web development and includes icons from Font Awesome and Academicons.

Installation:

To use this template, follow the steps below:

1. Clone the repo to your local machine.
2. Follow the instructions on GitHub Pages to create your own webpage.
3. Customize the template by commenting out or deleting unnecessary components from the index.html file.
4. Adjust the style of the webpage by modifying the style.css file. Note that some style options may also be set in the index.html file or as Bootstrap classes.
5. To change icons, use the Font Awesome interface.
